This is the first show I have been to at KAT so I had no idea what to expect in terms of quality. The first surprise was the set. Very good indeed. A tribute to the set builders and dressers. I know how much work goes into constructing a set so I want to acknowledge the efforts of the team. The story was full of intrigue and I was enjoying it all the way through, yet the ending left me wanting more. The build up was better than the pay off. Kind of like a Stephen King novel at times! Big credit also to Allan Burne who gave an excellent and believable performance in the lead role. He stood out and deserves to be singled out for his performance. The scene where one of the cast was attacked offstage and came on all bloody was also a highlight earning gasps from the audience as it looked

pretty realistic even in the front row. This was director Mike Mcjorrow’s debut and he really did a great job moving the cast around the stage effortlessly. A fun night of theatre and I’m pleased I went. Thank you KAT. Well done
