Firstly, the venue. They were serious when they set the theatre up for this show. They had even carpeted the place with Harry Potter carpet. The venue itself was nice with wooden seating and adequate legroom. This show is long. 3 1/2 hours incl intermission so not for the faint hearted, but, if like me, you are an HP fan, the time will fly by as the story is both intense and enjoyable.

The performance starts where the books and movie left off. With Harry and Ginny at platform 9 3/4 with their two boys, and meeting up with Hermione and Ron with their daughter.

The choreography from the opening scene throughout is exceptional and displayed athleticism with seemingly effortless ease. The show itself is filled with trickery and magic but the stars were the dementors. I won’t say any more but wow. All of the cast were perfectly suited to their roles, tho the Malfoy men were standouts in my eye. Would absolutely go again. Technically and theatrically perfect.
